Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Fresno, California. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator committed to inspiring students and fostering a love for mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous math instruction, preparing students for higher education and future careers, and contributing positively to our school community. Full relocation assistance and Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) will be provided for qualified international candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula for various high school mathematics courses (e.g., Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus).
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success and school initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to extracurricular activities.
  • Utilize educational technology to enhance instruction and student learning.
  • Adhere to district policies, state education standards, and professional ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching credential or eligibility for one in the state of California (or equivalent international qualification).
  • Proven ability to teach high school mathematics effectively.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Education or Mathematics.
  • Prior experience teaching high school mathematics.

  • Familiarity with California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
