Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Metal Polishing Machine Feeder to join our busy workshop in Aberystwyth. This is an essential hands-on role involving the loading and unloading of metal components into polishing machinery. The work environment can be dusty due to the nature of metal finishing, and full personal protective equipment, including safety goggles, will be provided and mandatory to wear. Full training on machine operation and safety protocols will be given.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load metal components onto polishing machines.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper feeding and smooth process flow.
- Unload polished parts, inspecting for initial quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, especially managing dust and debris.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and procedures, including consistent use of PPE.
- Report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with general workshop duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and potentially dusty environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety.
- Willingness to learn and operate industrial machinery.
Preferred Qualifications
