Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team in Coventry. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative mobile applications across various platforms. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric mobile experiences that meet our clients’ evolving needs. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer for Android and/or iOS platforms.
- Proficiency in at least one modern mobile development framework (e.g., Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, or React Native/Flutter).
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile apps.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile applications.
- Portfolio of published mobile applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
