Key Responsibilities
- Ride along with experienced Mobile Service Technicians to various customer locations, including homes, businesses, and roadside sites.
- Assist in the safe and efficient lifting, loading, and unloading of tires, wheels, and specialized equipment from the service vehicle.
- Provide direct support to the technician during tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair processes, learning techniques on-the-job.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures while working with automotive equipment and at diverse outdoor locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mobile service vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Support the technician in delivering excellent customer service by assisting with communication and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the mobile service unit.
Required Skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy objects (e.g., tires, wheels, equipment) weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Eagerness to learn new skills, follow instructions diligently, and adapt to changing situations.
- Demonstrates excellent teamwork and effective communication abilities.
- Holds a valid driver's license and maintains a clean driving record for ride-along eligibility.
- Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions and environments.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labor role, warehouse, or general service industry.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A basic interest or aptitude for automotive mechanics.
