Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic and active role? Britannia Movers International in Norwich is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Mover / General Labourers to join our growing team. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture and other items onto and off removal vehicles.
- Carefully pack and unpack customers' belongings, ensuring their protection during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required, following training guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including organising and maintaining the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete moves promptly and to a high standard.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- A full UK driving license (Cat B) would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role.
- Experience with manual handling and lifting techniques (training will be given).
