Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Mushroom Picker at our state-of-the-art indoor farm in Hamburg. This is a full-time position offering stable, year-round employment in a controlled, clean, and comfortable environment. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and harvest a variety of mushrooms according to quality standards and production schedules.
- Sort, grade, and pack harvested mushrooms for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the indoor farm.
- Monitor mushroom growth and report any issues or abnormalities to supervisors.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with other farm tasks as needed, including general cleaning and preparation.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift light to moderate weights (up to 10 kg) for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of German language (not required, but a plus).
- Previous experience in a physical labor role or production environment (not required).
- A positive attitude and a passion for fresh produce.
