Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Natural Language Processing (NLP) Intern to join our innovative AI Labs team in Durham, NC. This internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring AI professionals to gain hands-on experience in developing and deploying advanced NLP models. You will work alongside experienced researchers and engineers, contributing to real-world projects that push the boundaries of AI. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research, design, and development of NLP models and algorithms.
- Contribute to data collection, annotation, and preprocessing for NLP tasks.

- Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers on various AI projects.
- Document methodologies, findings, and contribute to internal reports.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning research.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational understanding of natural language processing concepts and machine learning principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Familiarity with NLP libraries/frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers) or machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and research areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous coursework or projects related to NLP, machine learning, or deep learning.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
