Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for part-time Newspaper Inserter positions. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, perfect for teens or young adults looking for their first job or to gain valuable work experience. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You will be responsible for accurately inserting various sections into newspapers and preparing them for distribution during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately insert advertising leaflets and sections into newspapers following specific instructions.
- Stack and bundle finished newspapers ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts (typically between 11 PM and 6 AM).
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting light bundles of newspapers (up to 10kg).
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (not essential, full training provided).
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
