Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Registered Manager to lead our dynamic team in Hoboken, New Jersey. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader passionate about upholding the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within a long-term care setting. The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the nursing home, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents, and providing leadership to all staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall management and operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and facilities effectively.

  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities.

Required Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or eligibility for endorsement.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations (e.g., CMS, DOH).
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license or in pursuit of one.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems specific to long-term care.
  • Prior experience in a facility undergoing regulatory inspections or accreditation processes.
