Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and compassionate Nursing Home Registered Manager to lead one of our valued care homes in Coventry. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader, including those from overseas, as we offer comprehensive sponsorship and relocation support. As Registered Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident satisfaction. You will inspire and lead your team, manage day-to-day operations, and uphold HC-One’s commitment to kindness and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to all staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all residents.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to meet the needs of the home.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure effective clinical governance, safeguarding, and health and safety practices are in place.
- Lead and participate in regular audits and inspections, developing action plans as required.
- Champion continuous improvement in care quality and service delivery.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and appraise staff to build a skilled and dedicated team.
Required Skills
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing home setting (minimum 5 years)
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOEs, and best practice guidelines.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience in staff development, performance management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to resident-centred care.
Preferred Qualifications
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
- Evidence of continuous professional development in healthcare management.
- Experience with international recruitment and integration processes.
