Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team in Columbus, Georgia. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
  • Conduct a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures, including trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine, and spine procedures as appropriate for expertise.
  • Provide post-operative care and follow-up, ensuring optimal patient recovery and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and support staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for orthopedic emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to best clinical practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to residents and medical students, if applicable.

Required Skills

  • Medical Doctor (MD/DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Excellent surgical skills and clinical judgment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of Orthopedic Surgery (e.g., Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Spine, Hand, Trauma).
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume surgical practice.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
