Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Supply Chain & Logistics Intern to join our Operations team in Yonkers, NY. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management and logistics within a fast-paced, global consumer goods company. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to real-world projects and initiatives that impact our daily operations and distribution networks. This role is perfect for students looking to kickstart their career in supply chain, logistics, or operations, providing a comprehensive understanding of how a major company manages its product flow from manufacturing to delivery. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection and analysis related to inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery performance.
- Support the optimization of logistics processes, including route planning and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in the supply chain.
- Participate in daily operational meetings and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain metrics and project progress.
- Help maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational activities.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain and logistics.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- No prior professional experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.

- Familiarity with supply chain software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
