Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Packaging Machine Operator Assistant to join our production team in Noosaville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable, ongoing full-time work within a leading food manufacturing environment. As an Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced machine operators, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of packaging lines. Full training will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to excel in this essential role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Packaging Machine Operators with setting up and preparing machinery for production runs.
- Load raw materials and packaging components onto machines accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations to identify any irregularities or potential issues.
- Perform quality checks on packaged products, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all hygiene and safety protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product defects to the supervisor.
- Assist with routine cleaning and basic maintenance of packaging equipment.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading production schedules and recording data.
- Physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift up to 15kg.

Preferred Qualifications
