Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Paint Scraping & Prep Laborer to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to learn and contribute to various construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, both indoors and outdoors, primarily through manual scraping, cleaning, and light repair. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Manually scrape loose paint, rust, and other debris from various surfaces.
- Clean and prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, and filling minor imperfections.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of work areas, including erecting scaffolding or ladders as needed.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint and debris using drop cloths and tape.
- Handle and store tools and materials properly, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other team members with general labor tasks as required.
