Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Sandwich Hand to join our vibrant team at The Daily Grind Cafe. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn the art of sandwich making and food preparation in a busy cafe setting. No prior experience is necessary – we are committed to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate. You will play a crucial role in preparing our menu items, ensuring quality and consistency, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Slice and prepare fresh ingredients daily, including meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock.
- Keep the food preparation area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling special requests as needed.
