Job Description
Join the Celebration Central team as a Party Supply Store Balloon Inflator! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced retail environment and have a knack for customer service. You will be responsible for creating stunning balloon arrangements and ensuring our customers leave with everything they need for their perfect party. Weekend availability is a must, as these are our busiest and most festive times!
Key Responsibilities
- Inflate balloons with helium or air, ensuring proper sizing and knotting.
- Create custom balloon bouquets and arrangements according to customer requests or store designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized balloon station, including helium tanks and ribbon supplies.
- Assist customers with balloon selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle and store helium tanks safely.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with other general store duties as needed, such as stocking shelves or tidying displays.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and store policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with balloon types and inflation techniques (training will be provided).
- A passion for parties and celebrations!
