Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Passenger Assistants to join our team in Aberdeen. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to passengers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and positive experience while using our services. This includes helping individuals with mobility challenges, young children, and other passengers who may require extra support during their journey. You will be a friendly face, ready to offer help and guidance, making public transport accessible for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers with boarding and alighting the vehicle, including those using wheelchairs or requiring physical support.
  • Ensure passengers are safely and comfortably seated, securing wheelchairs and other mobility aids as required.
  • Provide clear and friendly communication, answering questions and offering guidance on routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor passenger well-being during journeys, responding to any concerns or emergencies calmly and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment within the passenger area.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the appropriate management.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
