Job Description
Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pecan / Nut Shelling Operative to join our processing team in Bakersfield, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves working with our advanced shelling machinery in a comfortable, sit-down environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. You will play a crucial role in the quality control and preparation of our premium nuts, contributing directly to our renowned product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor nut shelling equipment efficiently and safely.
- Inspect nuts for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and removing any defective products or foreign materials.
- Perform light sorting and packaging duties as required.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
