Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart a rewarding career in civil construction? Fulton Hogan is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in Goulburn as Pipe Layer Assistants. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. You will work closely with experienced pipe layers, assisting in the installation and maintenance of essential infrastructure, including stormwater, sewer, and water pipelines. This role is perfect for someone who is physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to working safely in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled pipe layers with the laying, fitting, and joining of various types of pipes.
  • Perform manual labour tasks such as digging trenches, backfilling, and moving materials.
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and site regulations.
  • Support the team in various civil construction tasks as required.
  • Learn and apply new skills related to pipe laying and civil infrastructure.

  • Current Australian Construction Induction Card (White Card) – if you don't have one, we can help you obtain it.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
