Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Podiatrist to join our established clinic in Albany, Western Australia. This full-time clinical role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about foot health and keen on career progression within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing comprehensive podiatric care, and contribute to our commitment to patient-centred outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.
- Provide evidence-based care including general podiatry, biomechanical assessments, orthotic prescription, wound care, nail surgery, and diabetic foot management.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with professional and company standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventative measures, and treatment options.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to clinic quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate training or specialisation in areas such as sports podiatry, diabetic foot care, or paediatrics.
- Experience with electronic health record systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
