Job Description
Are you eager to kickstart a rewarding career in a practical, hands-on industry? Poolwerx Shepparton is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pool Maintenance Trainee to join our dynamic team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity to learn the ropes of professional pool and spa care from the ground up, with no prior experience required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, equipping you with all the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified pool maintenance expert. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot common pool problems under supervision.
- Develop expertise in water testing and chemical application techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards and WHS regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
- Keep service vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment (up to 20kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manual driver's license (desirable but not essential).
- Any prior experience in a customer service or hands-on role.
- A passion for outdoor work and practical problem-solving.
