Job Description
As a Public Transport Information Host at our bustling transit hubs, you will be the friendly face of Bus Éireann, providing essential assistance and information to passengers. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless travel experience for all. You will guide passengers, answer queries about routes, schedules, and fares, and assist with any travel-related concerns. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about public service, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided to equip you with all the necessary knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on bus routes, timetables, and fares.
- Assist passengers with journey planning and connections.
- Handle passenger inquiries and resolve minor travel issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Direct passengers to correct boarding gates, ticket machines, and facilities.
- Distribute brochures, maps, and other informational materials.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence within transit hubs.
- Report any operational issues or passenger feedback to appropriate channels.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and customer service protocols.
