Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Race Track Paddock Cleaner to join our dedicated team. This is a crucial outdoor role, requiring an individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with early morning starts. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of our race track paddocks, stables, and surrounding areas before daily operations begin. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing tasks that require physical stamina. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties of race track paddocks, stables, and designated outdoor areas.
- Remove manure, litter, debris, and other waste materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Sanitise and disinfect surfaces as required to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard before scheduled events or activities.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards observed during cleaning.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and functional environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding outdoor cleaning tasks.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor manual labour or cleaning roles.
- Knowledge of equestrian environments or race track operations.
- A full UK driving license.
- Residing locally in Balham or surrounding Wandsworth areas.
