Job Description
Are you passionate about photography and eager to learn a new skill in a dynamic industry? Hunters Estate Agents is seeking a motivated and creative Real Estate Photography Assistant to join our growing team in Wakefield. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to stunning property visuals. You will work alongside our experienced photographers, learning the art and science of capturing properties to showcase their unique appeal. Key Responsibilities
- Accompany senior photographers to various property locations across West Yorkshire.
- Assist with setting up photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and tripods.
- Learn and apply best practices for staging properties to maximize visual appeal.
- Help with on-site adjustments and minor styling to prepare rooms for shoots.
- Observe and actively learn photography techniques, angles, and composition specific to real estate.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and organization.
- Support post-production processes by learning basic image culling and organization.
- Ensure all equipment is handled with care and safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and team members on site.
Required Skills
- A genuine interest in photography and real estate.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with camera equipment (e.g., owned a DSLR or mirrorless camera, even for personal use).
- Experience with basic photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) is a plus, but not required.
- Previous customer service experience.
