Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Part-time Recycling Sorter at our modern Mount Gambier facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stable day shifts in a supportive work environment. As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in separating recyclable materials, ensuring they are processed efficiently and correctly. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to all new team members. Key Responsibilities
- Manually sort and separate various recyclable materials (e.g., plastics, paper, cardboard, glass) on a conveyor belt.
- Identify and remove contaminants from the recycling stream.
- Ensure materials are placed into designated bins or areas according to company procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with other general duties within the recycling plant as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to safety protocols.
