Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director to lead our operations across the Sussex region, based out of our Chichester hub. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can drive performance, foster a customer-centric culture, and ensure operational excellence across multiple branches or business units within the specified region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving regional targets, developing high-performing teams, and implementing group strategies effectively. You will be a key interface between national leadership and local execution, shaping the future success of our presence in Sussex.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional strategy aligned with national business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of branch managers and staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor regional performance against key metrics, identifying areas for growth and improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, local communities, and internal departments.
- Manage regional budgets, resources, and operational costs efficiently.
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service delivery.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the region.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior leadership or regional management role within financial services or a related industry.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding business targets.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial sector.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications relevant to financial services.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change management.
- Existing network within the Sussex business community.
