Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Regional Farm Labourers to join various agricultural operations in the Moreton Bay region, specifically based out of Caboolture. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for consistent work with competitive ‘high pay’ rates and the potential for ‘visa sign-off’ for eligible working holiday visa holders. You will be performing a variety of essential tasks to support daily farm operations, working outdoors in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those eager to enter the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including planting, weeding, harvesting, and packing of various crops.
- Operate basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Assist with irrigation systems, including setting up and moving hoses or sprinklers.
- Maintain farm infrastructure, including fences, sheds, and equipment.
- Contribute to animal husbandry tasks as required (e.g., feeding, monitoring livestock health).
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and farm policies.
- Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve daily operational goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic understanding of English for safety and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a farm or outdoor labourer role (even if minimal).
- Current Australian driver's license (manual preferred).
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with farm machinery operation.
