Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote Creative Copywriter to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK, reporting to our Newcastle hub. You will be responsible for crafting compelling and conversion-driven copy for a variety of digital advertising campaigns and product descriptions across diverse client accounts. Your words will inform, persuade, and entertain, driving engagement and achieving client objectives. We are looking for a wordsmith with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of brand voice, and the ability to adapt writing styles for different platforms and target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and persuasive ad copy for digital channels, including social media, search engines, display ads, and email campaigns.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions that highlight features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, strategists, and account managers to ensure copy aligns with client briefs and brand guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research on industries, products, and target audiences to inform copy development.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guides.
- Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for campaigns and content initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in copywriting and digital marketing.
- Participate in client presentations and feedback sessions as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in an agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
- Ability to write in various tones and styles, adapting to different brand voices and target audiences.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and advertising platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and project management tools.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful ad copy and product descriptions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience with A/B testing copy and optimizing for performance.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword integration in copy.
- Experience working with global brands or diverse industry sectors.
