Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Digital Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position where you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our digital assets, including ingestion, cataloging, storage, retrieval, and distribution. You will ensure our vast library of creative assets is easily accessible, properly tagged, and compliant with brand guidelines and legal requirements, all from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive metadata standards, naming conventions, and taxonomy for all digital assets.
  • Ingest, tag, and organize new digital assets, ensuring they are accurately cataloged and easily searchable.
  • Perform regular audits of the DAM system to ensure data integrity, resolve issues, and improve efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on DAM best practices, asset retrieval, and system usage.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and legal teams to understand asset needs and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee asset rights management, usage tracking, and version control.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to DAM workflows and systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Bynder, Widen).
  • Strong understanding of metadata schemas, taxonomies, and digital content types (images, video, audio, documents).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a 100% remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with rights management and digital licensing.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced creative or corporate environment.
