Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Digital Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home office. As a Digital Asset Manager, you will be crucial in organizing, categorizing, and maintaining our vast collection of digital media files, ensuring they are easily accessible and managed efficiently across our global operations. You will implement best practices for digital asset management, metadata tagging, and version control, supporting various internal teams including marketing, creative, and content production. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of digital assets, from ingestion to archival, within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Develop and implement metadata schemas, taxonomies, and tagging strategies to ensure discoverability and consistency of assets.
  • Oversee asset rights management, ensuring proper usage, licensing, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits of the DAM system to maintain data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on DAM system usage and best practices.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and IT teams to optimize workflows and enhance asset delivery processes.
  • Research and recommend new technologies or system upgrades to improve DAM functionality.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of metadata standards and content taxonomy.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in media file formats, codecs, and digital asset lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with enterprise-level DAM platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Bynder, OpenText Media Management).
  • Familiarity with intellectual property rights and content licensing.
  • Experience in a media, advertising, or creative agency environment.
