Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Remote Translation Assistants to join our global team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with a passion for languages and a keen eye for detail, regardless of prior translation experience. You will play a crucial role in supporting our multilingual content initiatives, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance across various projects. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in this 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and linguistic quality assurance of translated content across multiple languages.
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of terminology in accordance with established glossaries and style guides.
- Perform data entry and content validation for multilingual datasets.
- Collaborate with senior linguists and project managers to address linguistic feedback.
- Support various localization projects by performing administrative and organizational tasks.
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities to enhance translation and linguistic skills.
Required Skills
- Fluency in at least one non-English language (all languages welcome).
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with, or academic exposure to, translation memory (TM) tools or content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with localization best practices or cultural nuances of different regions.
- Ability to work with multiple language pairs.
