Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Merthyr Tydfil. This role offers an exciting opportunity to champion sustainable energy solutions, engage with customers, and drive sales of our cutting-edge renewable energy products and services. With a competitive base salary and uncapped commission structure, your earning potential is directly tied to your success in helping customers embrace a greener lifestyle. Full training on our products and sales processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas for renewable energy solutions.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs and present tailored renewable energy proposals.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of renewable energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact through to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Represent E.ON Next professionally and ethically at all times.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience in sales, customer service, or a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and tenacious approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in energy sales, home improvement sales, or B2C sales.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies such as solar PV, heat pumps, or battery storage systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
