Job Description

Are you looking for an active, hands-on role in a fast-paced restaurant environment? We are seeking a diligent and physically capable individual to join our team as a Restaurant Ice Machine Restocker. This vital role ensures our kitchen and bar operations run smoothly by keeping ice machines fully stocked and operational. It requires consistent physical activity, including lifting and transporting heavy bags of ice, and maintaining cleanliness standards around ice machines. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently transport and haul large quantities of ice from storage to various restaurant and bar ice machines.
  • Ensure all ice machines are consistently stocked throughout operating hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around ice machine areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor ice levels and proactively manage stock to prevent shortages.
  • Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs of ice machines to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc physical tasks as required to support kitchen and bar operations.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines meticulously.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively within a busy team environment.

Required Skills

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 25kg) repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
