Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Manager to join our finance team in Cheltenham. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, foreign exchange exposure, and banking relationships. This critical role ensures optimal liquidity, mitigates financial risks, and supports strategic financial planning across our global operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial stability and driving efficiency within our treasury function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash positioning, short-term investments, and funding requirements.
- Develop and execute foreign exchange hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk.
- Oversee banking relationships and optimize treasury operations through banking services.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and external financial regulations.
- Manage debt facilities and covenant compliance.
- Implement and maintain robust treasury systems and processes.
- Support strategic financial projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in treasury management or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management techniques.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional qualification such as AMCT (Association of Corporate Treasurers), ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience in a multinational retail or fashion environment.
- Knowledge of various payment systems and financial regulations.
- Experience with SAP Treasury module.
