Job Description
Join our team as a Retail Flyer Distributor and play a crucial role in connecting our stores with local communities! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy being active outdoors and working independently. As a Flyer Distributor, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of promotional flyers and materials to residential homes within designated local neighborhoods in West Edmonton. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up bundles of flyers and promotional materials from a designated location.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely distribution within assigned residential areas.
- Distribute flyers directly to homes, ensuring placement in mailboxes or designated spots as per guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing Canadian Tire in the community.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Communicate any issues or route challenges to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- Ability to walk long distances and remain physically active for several hours.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read maps and follow directions.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with West Edmonton neighborhoods is an asset.
- Access to a smartphone for route planning and communication.
- Previous experience with outdoor physical work is a plus.
