Job Description
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for retail and a drive to lead? Target’s Retail Store Management Intern – Fast-Track Program is designed for aspiring leaders eager to jumpstart their career in store management. This immersive internship offers hands-on experience in all facets of retail operations, from merchandising and inventory management to guest service and team leadership. You’ll work alongside experienced store leaders, gaining practical skills and insights necessary to manage a successful retail environment. This program provides a clear pathway for professional growth, offering comprehensive training and mentorship. No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for individuals with strong potential and a desire to learn and excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist store leadership in daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient store environment.
- Learn and apply best practices in guest service, merchandising, inventory control, and visual presentation.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive and productive store culture.
- Participate in operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock replenishment.
- Help resolve guest inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Gain exposure to performance management, scheduling, and team development initiatives.
- Collaborate on special projects to improve store efficiency and guest satisfaction.
