Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a fun and dynamic environment? La Ronde is seeking enthusiastic and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Ride Attendants / Operators. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped to safely and efficiently operate our attractions and provide an outstanding experience for every guest. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with people, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate amusement rides, ensuring all safety procedures and guidelines are strictly followed.
- Monitor ride equipment and areas for any potential safety hazards or mechanical issues.
- Assist guests with boarding and unboarding rides, ensuring proper securement.
- Provide clear and concise instructions and safety briefings to all riders.
- Maintain a clean and organized ride station and surrounding area.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing assistance.
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures for assigned attractions.
Required Skills
- Ability to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols and operating procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset for communicating with our diverse guests.
