Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in Worcester, MA. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements. As a Technical Architect, you will be instrumental in guiding development teams, ensuring best practices, and driving the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise architecture principles.
- Define technical best practices, coding standards, and design patterns, and ensure their adoption across development teams.
- Conduct technical reviews, code inspections, and performance assessments to ensure solution quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and clients, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Evaluate new Salesforce features, AppExchange products, and integration technologies to recommend optimal solutions.
- Manage technical debt and ensure the long-term maintainability and scalability of Salesforce platforms.
- Facilitate technical discussions and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including solutioning and effort estimation for new projects.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce platform development and architecture roles.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect on multiple end-to-end implementations.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning Platform.
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Proficiency in Salesforce data modeling, security model, and declarative configuration.
- Experience with integration patterns and tools (e.g., REST API, SOAP API, MuleSoft, Salesforce Connect).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices for avoiding them.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud) or industries (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Prior consulting experience working with diverse clients.
