Job Description
Are you passionate about creating delicious food and providing excellent customer service? Subway Belconnen is looking for a enthusiastic and reliable Sandwich Maker / Artist to join our team for lunch shifts, Monday to Friday. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, has a keen eye for detail, and loves working with fresh ingredients. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn! You will be responsible for preparing sandwiches and salads to order, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and inviting store.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and wraps according to Subway's recipes and customer specifications.
- Operate point-of-sale system, handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation areas, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and assisting with menu selections.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as required.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak lunch hours.
