Job Description
We are actively seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our thriving team as a Scan Pack Operator. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity designed for those eager to kickstart a career in logistics, with no prior experience required. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training to ensure your success from day one. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for accurately scanning, packing, and preparing products for shipment, maintaining efficiency and upholding our high standards of quality. This role offers an immediate start for enthusiastic candidates who are ready to learn and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately scan products using handheld devices and ensure data integrity.
- Efficiently and securely pack items into appropriate containers, optimizing space and preventing damage.
- Verify product counts against order sheets and ensure the correct items are packaged for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels accurately and prepare packages for dispatch in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning equipment (full training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to upholding all safety protocols and contributing to a safe workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles or systems.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment (training can be provided).
