Job Description
Join the Staples team as a Scan & Pack Warehouse Clerk! We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to support our fast-paced distribution operations. This entry-level position offers immediate openings and is perfect for those looking to start a career in warehouse logistics. You will be responsible for accurately scanning, picking, and packing products to ensure timely and correct shipments. Full on-the-job training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately scan incoming and outgoing products using handheld scanners
- Pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product safety
- Prepare orders for shipment by labeling and organizing packages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts and quality checks as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs consistently
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with technology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience with warehouse equipment or scanning systems (preferred, but not required)
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures
