Job Description
Are you eager to kickstart a career in the trades? Bunnings Warehouse in Mount Gambier is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Security Screen Installer Helper to join our growing team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to learn a valuable trade from experienced professionals. No prior experience in security screen installation is required – we will provide comprehensive on-the-job training. You will work alongside skilled installers, assisting with the fitting and installation of security screens, doors, and related products for our customers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the measurement, cutting, and fitting of security screens and doors.
- Learn and apply best practices for safe and efficient installation techniques.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, both in the workshop and on customer premises.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines meticulously.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Support the team in packing up tools and ensuring all materials are accounted for.
