Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as a Wine Bottling Line Assistant for the upcoming seasonal bottling runs. This is a fast-paced, temporary position critical to ensuring our wines are beautifully packaged and ready for distribution. You will play a vital role in the final stages of our winemaking process, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading empty bottles onto the bottling line.
- Monitoring bottle fill levels and cap application.
- Applying labels and ensuring accurate placement.
- Packing finished bottles into cases and stacking them onto pallets.
- Performing quality checks on bottles, labels, and packaging.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assisting with general winery production tasks as needed.
- Adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with bottling line operations.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Forklift certification (a plus, but not required).
