Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn the fundamentals of smart home automation and installation techniques.
- Assist senior technicians with the installation of smart devices, including thermostats, lighting, security cameras, door locks, and audio/video systems.
- Learn to perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics for installed systems.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines for all installations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicles.
- Provide clear and friendly communication to clients, explaining system functionality.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each installation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project completion and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in technology, electronics, and smart home devices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various residential environments (attics, crawl spaces).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicles provided for work).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience with basic hand and power tools (e.g., for DIY projects).
- Customer service experience.
