Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sports Agency & Contract Law Intern to join our Fort Smith office. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity for individuals passionate about the intersection of sports, law, and business to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of athlete representation. You will work closely with our experienced agents and legal counsel, providing support on various aspects of client management, contract analysis, and industry research. This is an entry-level role designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills, ideal for students or recent graduates looking to launch a career in sports management or sports law. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of player contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and sports industry trends.
- Support agents and legal staff in preparing for client meetings and negotiation sessions.
- Draft, review, and organize various legal and administrative documents under supervision.
- Conduct market research to identify potential endorsement opportunities and strategic partnerships for athletes.
- Help maintain client files and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support to the agency team as needed.
- Learn about regulatory compliance within various sports leagues and associations.
