Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Automotive Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Henderson, NV. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive components and systems from concept to production, utilizing CAD software.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and supply chain to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, contributing innovative ideas and constructive feedback.
- Support prototype build and testing phases, analyzing results and implementing design improvements.
- Research and apply new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes to enhance product design.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Prior internship or project experience in automotive design or manufacturing.
- Experience with powertrain, chassis, interior, or exterior automotive systems.
