Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and community-oriented individual to join our team as a Live-In Student Housing Resident Advisor (RA) in Rancho Cucamonga. As an RA, you will play a pivotal role in building a positive and inclusive residential community. This unique opportunity offers a significant rent discount in exchange for your commitment to resident support, community development, and administrative tasks. You will be the primary point of contact for residents, providing guidance, enforcing policies, and organizing engaging events to enhance the student living experience. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive role model and resource for residents, fostering a welcoming and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Plan and implement engaging social, educational, and developmental programs and events for residents.
- Mediate conflicts and address resident concerns promptly and effectively, referring complex issues to professional staff.
- Conduct regular rounds of the residential facility to ensure safety, security, and adherence to community standards.
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes, room inspections, and other administrative duties.
- Respond to emergency situations and crisis interventions, escalating as necessary.
- Communicate important announcements, policy updates, and community information to residents.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Enforce community policies and procedures fairly and consistently, documenting incidents as required.
