Job Description
Are you looking for an easy, rewarding summer job in Qualicum Beach? Qualicum Bay Pool Care is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Swimming Pool Water Testers / Monitors. This is an entry-level position perfect for students or anyone looking for seasonal work. You will be responsible for visiting various pools, collecting water samples, performing basic chemical tests, and recording data. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary! This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and quality of the pools we service, offering a great opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various residential and commercial pool locations within Qualicum Beach.
- Collect water samples using provided equipment.
- Perform on-site basic chemical tests (e.g., pH, chlorine, alkalinity) using test kits.
- Accurately record and report test results and any observed issues.
- Ensure testing equipment is clean and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding pool conditions and supply needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
