Blue Wave Pool Management is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Swimming Pool Water Testers / Monitors for the upcoming summer season. This entry-level position is perfect for students, retirees, or anyone looking to spend their summer outdoors while performing essential water quality checks. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various residential and commercial pool locations within the Stamford area.
- Collect water samples from designated swimming pools.
- Conduct basic on-site water quality tests using provided equipment (e.g., pH, chlorine, alkalinity levels).
- Accurately record test results and any observed anomalies.
- Report findings to the pool management team for appropriate action.
- Ensure testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Basic communication skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
