Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Systems Data Auditor to join our growing team. This ongoing full-time role will be based in our Southbank office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of data across various systems and platforms. You will play a crucial role in identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and recommending corrective actions to maintain high standards of data quality and system reliability. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to maintaining robust data governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of data within core business systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify, investigate, and report on data discrepancies and anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to understand data flows and system functionalities.
- Develop and implement audit procedures and controls to enhance data integrity.
- Document audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and standards.
- Participate in projects related to system upgrades, data migration, and process improvements.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on data accuracy best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with various database systems and data structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
